David C. Dismuke was born in Tampa, Florida in 1974. After graduating from Haines City High School in 1993, Dave joined the United States Marine Corps Reserve and attended college at the University of South Florida where he graduated, with honors, in 1998. Dave received an academic scholarship to attend Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan, where he was awarded the “book award” in both Torts and Scholarly Writing given to the student with the highest grade, as well as the John D. Volker award for outstanding and dedicated law review service in 2000. He graduated from Cooley, with honors, in 2001.


Dave dedicates his practice to the fields of personal injury and legal malpractice, representing victims of negligence and wrongdoing, with a focus on trial advocacy. He is a Board Certified Specialist in Civil Trial Law by The Florida Bar and has an AV Preeminent® 5.0 out of 5 Peer Review Rating by Martindale-Hubble®. In 2013 and 2014, Dave was selected for inclusion in the Florida Rising Stars℠. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Florida Justice Association (2012‑present) as well as the Board of Directors of the Polk County Trial Lawyers Association (2013-present)


Dave is married to his high school sweetheart, Jennifer. Together they have two children, Brooke and Dawson. The Dismuke family are members of First Baptist Church at the Mall. Giving back to the community is important to the Dismuke Law family. Dismuke Law supports a number of local charitable organizations. Most recently, Dismuke Law has become a drop-off site for kidsPACK. KidsPACK USA is a nonprofit organization supported by community leaders, corporate sponsors, churches, and concerned citizens joined with a core of volunteers throughout the county dedicated to improving the lives and opportunities of children
